Sui Developer Newsletter (#3)

February 14, 2024 💘🌹💝🍫

Roses are red, violets are blue,
In the realm of love, as in blockchain, too.
A bond so secure, and genuinely spry,
In matters of heart, don't trust, verify.

Welcome to the third edition of the Sui Developer Newsletter!

We're pleased to announce Sui Basecamp, the inaugural global conference for the Sui ecosystem that will take place April 10–11 in Paris, France. Sui developer newsletter subscribers can register with the code sui-devnewsletter-50 for 50% off a standard pass. Looking forward to seeing many of you at this event.

We are also excited to welcome the launch of Sui RPC 2.0. At a high level, RPC 2.0 is a re-architecture and rewrite of Sui’s read, write, and subscription support. While the goal is to eventually replace the old JSON-RPC, today we are at the point where an initial MVP of RPC 2.0 is run by Mysten Labs as a public reference. This service is rate limited in a similar fashion to our existing RPC nodes. For more information, see the launch forum post and the docs.

We're eager for your feedback on what you'd like to see in the newsletter—tag @SuiNetwork on Twitter, join our Discord community, or post on the developer forums.
